Build the dynasty! Execute the traitors! Crusade for the True Faith! When it comes down to it, CK2 is complex but much easier to get a handle on than V2. It all comes back to characters though, and I find it most fun when I try to follow the RPG side a bit. You can rise from the ranks of a lowly count in a kingdom to become its king, or forge a kingdom out of formerly independent lands. You get this bit of land or quash that revolt and you march on. Those wars, however, are often of more limited consequence.

It's all about character interactions and there is often lots of war. They are VERY different games.ĬK2 is RPG-Strategy. Without more details about what you like about EU4 and what interests you most about each game, you're going to be hard pressed to find an answer here.
